Abacus Play Leaders
We work with Mrs Ferrari (Wellbeing Mentor) to try and make lunchtimes more active and enjoyable by leading games and activities.
Mrs Ford (our SSCO) came into school for two afternoons to train us as Play Leaders. We supported activities during the second half of the Spring Term and for the whole of the Summer Term. Lots of children and staff commented about how happy lunchtimes are now we are helping.
Now the weather has changed we have a new rota in place and new Play Leaders. Our new Play Leaders are now planning and leading activities in a smaller space and on our picnic tables.
