The Governing Body of Abacus Primary School currently has a Parent Governor vacancy.

Parent Governors play an important role as members of the Governing Body, which is responsible for directing the conduct of the school and for promoting high standards of educational achievement. We are looking for a new Parent Governor who will be committed, enthusiastic and to have an interest in our children's education.

 

The term of office for a Parent Governor is for a period of up to 4 years, and training is available to cover all the different aspects of being a Governor, enabling a candidate to perform the role to the best of their ability.
